Hi there, I’m Anna!

Born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I’m a video editor and animator who brings stories to life through motion and design. After earning my BFA in Art and Design from the University of Michigan, I made my home between Ann Arbor and Detroit, where I now channel my love for storytelling as a Multimedia Designer at U-M’s School of Social Work. I’m always exploring new ways to grow as a storyteller through multimedia, storyboarding, and animation.

I’ve been obsessed with storytelling for as long as I can remember—writing mini birthday plays for my friends to perform (with my parents behind the camera), joining theatre productions, crafting my own stories, and sewing costumes to bring characters to life. After exploring many creative paths, I discovered my favorite ways to tell stories: through illustration and 2D animation. My long-term goal is to create stories that resonate and stand the test of time.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me cooking, chasing after my mischievous corgi, watching movies and shows, dabbling in new languages, or adding yet another piece to my ever-growing 'project pile.'

Thanks for stopping by!
